Statement on Epstein files

It has recently come to our attention that in common with other universities, 51³Ô¹ÏÍøºÚÁÏ has been referenced in the Epstein files published by the US Department of Justice.
Initial investigations have confirmed that in late 2016 51³Ô¹ÏÍøºÚÁÏ was offered funding to support an ongoing research project by an entity linked to Jeffrey Epstein called Enhanced Education. The matter was referred to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøºÚÁÏ’ Ethical Committee for Acceptance of Gifts, who took a decision to refuse the funding.
It was made clear that any future offer of funding either directly or indirectly from the same source would be refused, and based on extensive searches of our financial systems we can find no record of any funds being received by 51³Ô¹ÏÍøºÚÁÏ from Enhanced Education.
