CCTV cameras that process personal data are covered by the Data Protection Act.
Processing personal data occurs only if living individuals are identifiable from recorded images. 51³Ô¹ÏÍøºÚÁÏ registers with the Information Commissioner the purposes for which it is recording images on the cameras for which it is Data Controller.
We are not allowed to alter these purposes without changing its Notification in advance of processing.
